Want to make a difference in a child’s life?
Want to combat bullying and cultural discrimination?
Want to prevent the rise of gang violence in our schools and communities?
Want to keep an at risk child out of jail and in school?

If the answer to any or all of these questions is yes, then a contribution of just $60 can do that for an entire year per child, and $1800 can support an entire chapter of 30 children.

Your contribution will be used to do the following:

  • Provide training and mentorship
  • Pay for transportation to career fairs and college orientation
  • Support for after-school programs providing recreation, tutoring
    and tolerance

The Council for Unity will provide you with an Adopt-a-Kid certificate with the child’s name and school, along with a handwritten essay by your adopted child on how your contribution has impacted his or her growth and development throughout the year.

If you contribute before December 31st, we will provide you with our own acorn pin symbolizing the planting of the seed in honor of your adopted child, who, through our program, has a 90% chance of attending college.
