Supervised by Devonn Saunders, Council for Unity Program Site Coordinator and IS 230 faculty advisor Lisa Mesulam, youth participants socialized with the elderly patients, helped decorate the windows and walls with Thanksgiving and Halloween themes, and assisted them in painting pumpkins. Council for Unity students had an enjoyable experience and walked away feeling positive that together they made a difference engaging in community and impacting the lives of the people they visited.
Another successful gathering of young alumni, students organized by Alumni Coordinator Kyle Harmon.
